This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of integrating Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) within the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result, and Reflection) framework on the collaboration skills of 1st-grade elementary school students at SD Pembangunan Jaya 2 Sidoarjo. The background of this research is the low collaboration ability of early-grade students who are still in the egocentric phase, causing obstacles in group work. The integration of PjBL and CRT with the help of interactive 'Smart Box' media was implemented to create a meaningful, contextual, and joyful learning experience. This study used observation, tests, and documentation for data collection. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that after implementing this learning strategy, the students' collaboration skills improved significantly, with an overall average score of 84.09, categorized as 'Highly Collaborative'. Distribution analysis revealed that 63% of students reached the highly collaborative tier, 23% were collaborative, and 14% were moderately collaborative, with no students remaining in the poorly collaborative or noncollaborative categories. Thus, the integration of PjBL and CRT within the STAR framework effectively enhances collaboration skills and fosters national identity values among early-grade students.
