Literary works often portray various psychological phenomena experienced by characters, one of which is inferiority feeling. This psychological condition is also reflected in Tere Liye's novel Harga Sebuah Percaya through the main character, Jim, who experiences profound inner conflicts after losing someone he deeply loves. This study aims to describe the forms of inferiority feeling experienced by Jim based on Alfred Adler's Individual Psychology. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source was the novel Harga Sebuah Percaya by Tere Liye, while the data consisted of textual excerpts indicating inferiority feeling. Data were collected through close reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Jim's inferiority feeling is manifested in three forms: (1) anxiety and helplessness, (2) negative self-evaluation, and (3) guilt and regret. These psychological conditions emerge as responses to traumatic experiences, particularly the loss of a loved one. Nevertheless, Jim's inferiority feeling does not merely represent psychological weakness but also functions as a motivating force that encourages him to reflect on himself, overcome adversity, and seek the meaning of life, in accordance with Alfred Adler's theory of Individual Psychology.
