This study was conducted in response to the low learning motivation of fifth grade students in studying rhymes, which was attributed to the use of less engaging instructional methods and the limited availability of interactive learning media. The research aimed to develop a snakes and ladders learning medium based on rhyme material to enhance students' learning motivation at SDN Bunulrejo 2 Malang. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed product was a snakes and ladders learning medium integrating advice rhyme materials with question cards, challenge cards, and opportunity cards. The product was evaluated through expert validation involving both material and media experts to determine its feasibility. The findings demonstrated that the developed learning medium exhibited a high level of feasibility, receiving validation scores of 95.45% from the material expert and 93.18% from the media expert, indicating that it was appropriate for field implementation. Field testing demonstrated a substantial improvement in students' learning motivation, increasing from 80% (high category) to 95.38% (very high category), representing a 15.38% increase. The results demonstrate that the snakes and ladders learning medium effectively promotes students' learning motivation while fostering a more interactive, engaging, and meaningful learning environment.
