<![CDATA[Science learning requires learning media that can help students understand concepts concretely and meaningfully. Utilizing local wisdom in learning can be an alternative to create a more engaging, contextual learning process, and one that aligns with students' experiences. Hadroh, as a form of local wisdom, has the potential to be used as a learning medium for sound concepts because it produces various vibrations and sounds in science subjects. This research was conducted to provide an overview of one of the case studies to be examined. This study aims to determine the implementation of hadroh local wisdom in improving understanding of sound concepts in fifth-grade elementary school science subjects. The study used a one-group pretest-posttest design, where one group of students was tested before and after the treatment, which involved learning with hadroh local wisdom media. Hadroh local wisdom is a learning medium that utilizes the hadroh musical instrument as a learning resource to help students understand sound concepts more concretely and meaningfully. Data were obtained through written tests analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. This study used pretest and posttest data collection techniques. The results showed a significant increase in posttest scores compared to the pretest. The average pretest score was 59.77 and the posttest score was 84.55. This indicates that the use of hadroh local wisdom is effective in improving student understanding. These findings suggest that the use of hadroh local wisdom can be an effective and innovative alternative learning medium for improving elementary school students' understanding of sound concepts.]]>
