<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the inner conflicts experienced by the main character in the novel Satiné by Ika Natassa using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic literary psychology approach. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The data consisted of narrative passages, dialogues, and monologues indicating the psychological conflicts of the main character. The data source was the novel Satiné by Ika Natassa, while data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using Freud's psychoanalytic theory focusing on the interaction of id, ego, and superego. The findings revealed three forms of inner conflict experienced by the main character. First, anxiety was reflected in feelings of fear, worry, uncertainty, and emotional pressure in interpersonal relationships and future life. Second, hesitation appeared when the character experienced doubt in understanding feelings, making decisions, and interpreting life experiences. Third, inner opposition emerged due to conflicts between personal desires, reality, and moral values that influenced the character's attitudes and decisions. These findings indicate that the imbalance between the id, ego, and superego becomes the main factor causing psychological conflicts throughout the story. Therefore, the novel Satiné presents a complex portrayal of human psychological dynamics and provides a meaningful contribution to literary psychology studies, particularly those based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic perspective.]]>
