<![CDATA[Interest in learning is one of the important factors that influence student success in the learning process, however the interest in learning of class IV B students of MI Darussalam Jelutung Jambi City in the Indonesian Language subject is still relatively low so that interesting learning media is needed to increase student interest in learning. This study aims to increase the interest in learning of class IV B students of MI Darussalam Jelutung Jambi City in Indonesian Language subject. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the study were 27 students of class IV B MI Darussalam Jelutung Jambi City. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis used was descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The result of the study showed that the use of audio-visual media can increase student interest in learning. The percentage of students in learning based on the result of the questionnaire increased from 45% in the pre-action stage to 59% in cycle I and increased to 83% in cycle II. In addition, the results of observations of student learning activities also increased from 46% in the pre-action stage to 62% in cycle I and 82% in cycle II. Therefore, the use of audiovisual media has been proven to increase students interest in learning.]]>
