<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the limited use of animated video media in IPAS (science and social studies) learning. This study aims to develop a contextual animated video learning media based on the surrounding environment for the plant life cycle topic in grade V elementary school IPAS learning. The researcher used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, covering the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed product was an animated video created using Canva, containing materials on the life cycles of mango and tomato plants. Product validation was carried out by media and material experts, while the practicality test was conducted through a small-group trial with 8 students and a large-group trial with 22 students at SD Negeri II Kenayan, Tulungagung Regency. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews, validation sheets, and student and teacher response questionnaires. The results showed that the contextual animated video obtained a validity score of 91.5% from media experts and 88% from material experts, both in the very valid category. The practicality test showed that the teacher response reached 92% and the student response reached 87%, both in the very practical category. Based on these results, the contextual animated video for grade V IPAS learning is declared very valid and very practical, so it is feasible to be used in learning.]]>
