<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the drill training method on the improvement of jump shoot technique quality in basketball games among members of the Basketball Club at SMAN 2 Bone. This study used a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population consisted of 30 members of the Basketball Club at SMAN 2 Bone, while the sample consisted of 12 participants selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected through structured observation using a jump shoot skill observation sheet covering four assessment indicators: shooting accuracy, body balance, elbow position (shooting elbow in), and follow-through. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, a homogeneity test, and a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the mean pretest score of 1.42 increased to 2.83 in the posttest after the drill training treatment was given. The hypothesis test showed that t count (7.340) was greater than t table (1.795), with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These results indicate a significant improvement in jump shoot technique quality after the implementation of the drill training method. It is concluded that the drill training method has a significant effect on improving jump shoot technique quality among members of the Basketball Club at SMAN 2 Bone, and can therefore be used as an effective alternative training method to improve jump shoot skills in basketball.]]>
