This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Powtoon learning media on the learning interest of fifth-grade students in IPAS lessons at elementary school. The research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method thru the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 27 fifth-grade students at one of the public elementary schools in Sukabumi Regency, selected using the saturated sampling technique. The implementation of Powtoon media in learning was carried out thru the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to support active student engagement during the learning process. Data collection was conducted using a learning interest questionnaire supported by observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics. The research results showed that the data were normally distributed with pretest significance value of 0.654 and posttest significance value of 0.604. The paired sample t-test results showed a significance value of 0.030 (<0.05), indicating that the use of Powtoon media had a significant effect on the remaining interest in learning. Meanwhile, the N-Gain test results obtained an average value of 0.07, which falls into the low category. These findings indicate that the Powtoon learning media is capable of increasing students' interest in learning, although the level of improvement is still relatively low. Therefore, Powtoon media can be used as one of the alternative digital learning media that can create more engaging, interactive, and student-centered IPAS learning.
