<![CDATA[This classroom action research was carried out to improve students' ability to express opinions by applying a quiz-based Discovery Learning model combined with a reward system in PPKn lessons for class VII-G at SMP Negeri 12 Malang. The study was conducted across two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, involving 32 students as the research subjects. Data were gathered through observation, documentation, and assessment sheets measuring students' ability to express opinions, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The findings revealed a steady improvement across cycles: from 47.9% in Cycle I Meeting 1 to 76.8% in Meeting 2, yielding a Cycle I average of 62.3%. In Cycle II, scores rose further to 78.3% in Meeting 1 and 88.2% in Meeting 2, with an average of 83.2%. These results confirm that the 75% success indicator was met in Cycle II. Overall, the quiz-based Discovery Learning model with a reward system proved effective in enhancing students' ability to express opinions as well as their participation and self-confidence in PPKn learning.]]>
