Abstract: The Effect of Leadership Style of Department Chairman on Work Performance of Educational Management In Islamic Education Management Departmentthis research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on employe’s. The independent variables in this research are authoritarian leadership style (X1), participative leadership style (X2), delegative leadership style (X3) and dependent variable are employee performance (Y). The type of research is explanatory research, with quantitative approach. The Sampling technique is proportionate stratified random sampling, for the determination of the number samples by using Slovin formula and obtained the number of samples are 7 employees. The source data obtained by the primary data for distributing the questionnaire. The most dominant variable for influencing work motivation and employee performance need to be considered. These variables are authoritarian leadership style, with authoritarian leadership stlye make the employees feel more and theirs performance will increase. Abstrak: Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Ketua Jurusan Terhadap Kinerja Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan Di Jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap karyawan. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah gaya kepemimpinan otoriter (X1), gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif (X2), gaya kepemimpinan delegatif (X3) dan variabel terikat adalah kinerja karyawan (Y). Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksplanatori, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah proportional stratified random sampling, untuk penentuan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 7 orang karyawan. Sumber data diperoleh dengan data primer untuk penyebaran kuesioner. Variabel yang paling dominan untuk mempengaruhi motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan perlu diperhatikan. Variabel-variabel tersebut adalah gaya kepemimpinan otoriter, dengan gaya kepemimpinan otoriter membuat karyawan merasa lebih dan kinerja mereka akan meningkat.
