This study analyzes the influence of financial literacy on the investment decisions of Generation Z students at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire to 100 respondents and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on investment decisions with a t-value of 14.807 and a significance of 0.000 (<0.05). Financial literacy helps students understand risks, choose the right investment instruments, and improve the quality of investment decision-making. The higher the level of financial literacy, the more rational the investment decisions are made. Thus, increasing financial literacy is an important factor in encouraging better investment decisions in Generation Z students. Keywords: financial literacy, investment decisions
