This article aims to explore the influence of remuneration and career development on member performance through motivation as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach by selecting ex-post facto as its research design. The research sample was selected by the researcher using a probability sampling technique. By using the Slovin formula, from a total population of 694 Babinsa personnel, a sample of 254 personnel was obtained in this study. The questionnaire was the only main instrument used in data collection which was then analyzed quantitatively with the help of SPSS using path analysis. The results of the study indicate that remuneration and career development variables influence the increase in motivation and performance of Babinsa personnel. Furthermore, there is an indication of the influence of motivation variables on performance variables based on the measurement results with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Finally, there is a direct and indirect impact between remuneration and career development variables on performance significantly with the measurement results showing a significance level of 0.000 with a significance level of α = 5%.
