The development of digital media has transformed the way people consume political information, shifting from conventional media to online media that are faster, more interactive, and easily accessible. This study aims to analyze the influence of online mass media on public perception of Prabowo Subianto during the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election. The research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive survey method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to 138 respondents who actively accessed online media and followed political news related to the 2024 Presidential Election. The findings indicate that online mass media have a significant influence on shaping public political perceptions through agenda-setting, framing, and digital interactivity. A total of 98.6% of respondents accessed political news through online media, while 81.9% reported experiencing changes in their perceptions of Prabowo Subianto after being exposed to media coverage. Online media also played a role in constructing Prabowo Subianto’s political image as a figure who is closer to the younger generation. However, public perceptions remain influenced by personal factors such as political ideology, individual experiences, and historical memory. This study confirms that online media serve as an important actor in the construction of political reality in the digital era.
