<![CDATA[Families play an important role in the recovery process of patients with mental disorders in the community. However, in practice, families often face challenges due to limited knowledge about proper care. This study aimed to determine the effect of Psychoeducation and Supportive Therapy (PESO) on improving family knowledge. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a preteset - posttest and involved 60 respondents from the working areas of Mungkid and Sawangan 2 Public Health Centers. Data were analyzed using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. The results showed an increase in the level of knowledge after the intervention was provided. Before the intervention, most respondents were in the moderate knowledge category (73.3%). After the intervention, there was an improvement, with 45.0% of respondents in the high category and 55.0% remaining in the moderate category, with a p = 0.000 ( 0.001). These findings indicate that PESO therapy was associated with an improvement in family knowledge. It is recommended to integrate Psychoeducational and Supportive (PESO) Therapy as a routine, formal intervention program in community health centers (Puskesmas) to sustainably enhance the caregiving capacity of families of patients with mental disorders.]]>
