The rapid growth of digital payment technology has encouraged the adoption of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among culinary vendors, including those operating in the Pujasera area of Maulana Yusuf Stadium, Serang City. However, QRIS utilization among these vendors remains suboptimal, as cash transactions still dominate daily business activity. This study examines the effect of QRIS payment system quality on the intention to use digital payment, with trust as a mediating variable. A quantitative associative approach was applied to 132 culinary vendors selected through purposive sampling, with data collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that system quality has a significant direct effect on trust and on intention to use digital payment, trust significantly affects intention to use, and trust partially mediates the relationship between system quality and intention to use. These findings confirm that both the technical quality of the QRIS system and users' trust jointly determine vendors' willingness to adopt digital payment, offering practical implications for QRIS providers and local government in strengthening digital payment adoption among small culinary businesses.
