This study aims to analyze the level of understanding and preparedness of food stall businesses in Bogor City to face the mandatory halal certification, which will be implemented starting October 18, 2026. The primary concern is the limited understanding and preparedness of business owners regarding halal certification regulations, which can impede the sustainability of their businesses. The method used in this study was a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through a questionnaire survey of 45 respondents. The results showed that the level of understanding of halal certification reached only 45.27%, while their level of preparedness was only 37.16%. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for more intensive outreach and technical support to improve business owners' understanding and preparedness in facing the upcoming regulations.
