Murabahah financing is one of the main products in Islamic banking based on the principle of buying and selling with an agreed profit margin. However, the implementation of murabahah in Indonesia faces various challenges, especially in terms of compliance with Islamic law and banking regulations. This study aims to analyze the level of compliance with Islamic law in the practice of murabahah financing in several Islamic banks in Indonesia and to identify the factors that influence such compliance. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies and in-depth interviews with Islamic bank managers, Islamic supervisory boards, and customers. Secondary data were obtained from OJK regulations, DSN-MUI fatwas, and internal bank documentation. The results of the study indicate that although Islamic banks have implemented strict compliance standards, there are still some practices that are not in accordance with Islamic principles, such as the presence of gharar elements and less transparent margin determination. Internal factors such as HR understanding and Sharia Board supervision play an important role in maintaining compliance. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of HR and sharia supervision as well as increasing the transparency of financing products to increase customer trust and the effectiveness of murabahah financing.
