<![CDATA[Background: The development of digital payment systems has changed consumer payment behavior in Indonesia. QRIS provides an interoperable payment method that allows consumers to make transactions using various payment applications. Consumer behavior, including perceived convenience, usefulness, security, trust, and lifestyle, may influence the intention to use QRIS. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between consumer behavior and the intention to use QRIS as a payment instrument. Methods: This study used a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 86 respondents who had used or were familiar with QRIS payments. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measuring consumer behavior and intention to use QRIS. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: Most respondents demonstrated positive consumer behavior toward digital payment systems, with 61 respondents (70.9%) categorized as having good behavior. A high intention to use QRIS was found in 66 respondents (76.7%). Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship between consumer behavior and intention to use QRIS (p<0.001). Conclusion: Positive consumer behavior is significantly associated with a higher intention to use QRIS as a payment instrument.
