Used cooking oil is a household waste that can cause environmental pollution if improperly disposed of, but also has economic potential when processed into value-added products. This community service program aimed to improve community knowledge and skills in converting used cooking oil into aromatic candles. The program was conducted in Kadipiro, Manunggal, and Cidelaras Hamlets, Karangengah Village, Semarang Regency, targeting homemakers, members of the Family Welfare Movement (PKK), and other women's groups. The program applied the Participatory Training and Economic Empowerment (PTEE) approach, consisting of observation, socialization, demonstration, hands-on practice, and evaluation through practical observation and questionnaires. A total of 85 participants attended the program. The evaluation results showed that 92% of participants could independently produce aromatic candles after the training, indicating improved practical skills. The program successfully promoted the utilization of used cooking oil as a value-added product while supporting household waste reduction and community economic empowerment.
