Sleep pattern disorders are condition when it is difficult to start sleeping so that it takes a long time to cause discomfort so that the quality and quantity of sleep time cannot be met. Sholawat music therapy is music that has lyrics that contain praise to the Prophet Muhammad and religious messages. The purpose of this case study is to describe the application of sholawat music therapy to reduce sleep pattern disorders in the elderly in families in the guardian area of the Srondol public health center in Semarang city. This type of research is descriptive using a case study method. The subjects used were 2 subjects with inclusion criteria aged 60-74 years, with sleep pattern disorders with a PSQI score >5 poor sleep quality and there are major signs of 80-100% sleep pattern disorders from the SDKI. Measurement of sleep quality using the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index). Sholawat music therapy intervention for 1 week in a row before going to bed at night. The result of the case study showed that subject I experience a decrease in score from 15 (poor sleep quality) to 5 (good sleep quality) and subject II from a score of 16 (poor sleep quality) to 4 (good sleep quality). The result of the case study concluded that there was a decrease in sleep pattern disorders in the elderly who experienced sleep pattern disorders. Sholawat music therapy is recommended as a nursing intervention to reduce sleep pattern disorders in the elderly.
