Background: The advancement of digital technology has improved the public’s ability to access health information and has encouraged students to use telemedicine services. Telemedicine has expanded access to healthcare services and health information. However, digital health literacy is considered essential for engaging with digital health services. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the influence of digital competencies and health information literacy on non-health students’ interest in accessing telemedicine services at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. Methods: This research used a cross-sectional design and involved 104 students from non-health fields, selected through convenience sampling. Data were gathered using a Digital Health Literacy Competencies (DHLC) questionnaire and an adopted telemedicine interest questionnaire, both of which had been validated. Data analysis was carried out using univariate analysis and multiple linear regression with SPSS software. Results: Digital competence and health information literacy significantly influenced students’ interest in accessing telemedicine (p<0.05). The regression model explained 32.5% of the variance in telemedicine interest (R²=0.325). Health information literacy showed a stronger influence (β=0.355; p=0.003) than digital competence (β=0.260; p=0.029). Conclusion: Digital health literacy significantly influences interest in accessing telemedicine among non-healthcare university students, with health information literacy identified as the strongest contributing factor. Strengthening digital health literacy may increase students’ interest in using telemedicine. This research clearly underscores the urgency of promotive interventions to boost students' digital health literacy through systematic educational programs and digital-based preventive campaigns. Furthermore, synergy between higher education institutions and medical service providers is essential for optimizing the awareness, accessibility, and acceptability of telemedicine as an integral pillar in modernizing the digital healthcare ecosystem
