<![CDATA[Donutschaca is a small and medium enterprise (SME) engaged in cake sales. In carrying out its business processes, Donutschaca still faces several problems, such as manual recording using notebooks, limitations in product searches by customers, and unstructured order queue management on Whatsapp. This causes the service process to be less effective and has the potential to reduce service satisfaction to customers. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Binary Search algorithm in increasing the speed of product searches on the web-based cake ordering system at Donutschaca SME. This research method uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. The qualitative approach is carried out through data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation to identify existing problems, while the quantitative approach is carried out by measuring system performance based on search response time and search result accuracy. The results show that the application of the Binary Search algorithm to the web-based cake ordering system can significantly increase product speed and provide a more structured service process compared to the previous system which still used manual recording on paper or books and Whatsapp. Thus, the system built is proven to be more effective in supporting business operations and improving the quality of service to customers.]]>
