<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the interest of breeders in running a beef cattle business in Pattiro Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, namely the type of research that describes the condition of variable X on Y, whether there is an influence of variable The sampling technique used in this research is a purposive sampling technique where the sampling technique is based on certain considerations. Based on this research, from 111 existing populations of beef cattle breeders, 53 breeders were taken as samples. The analytical method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression which aims to determine the influence of increasing living standards and family responsibilities. The results of this research show that improving the standard of living of the people of Pattiro Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency has an influence on farmers' interest in running a beef cattle business. Meanwhile, variables related to family responsibilities in Pattiro Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency have no influence on the farmers' interest in running a beef cattle business.
