<![CDATA[This research examines the phenomenon of the One Piece flag being displayed as a form of symbolic resistance in global politics in 2025 through the perspective of Nicholas G. Onuf’s constructivism and Roland Bleiker’s concept of popular dissent. Using a qualitative descriptive-interpretive approach, the research analyzes secondary data collected from academic literature, news reports, and digital documentation related to the phenomenon in Indonesia, Nepal, the Philippines, France, and Peru. The findings show that the meaning of the One Piece flag was socially constructed through the interconnected processes of deeds, rules, and practice. Initially representing a fictional identity, the flag was reconstructed into a symbol of freedom, solidarity, and resistance to injustice. The repeated use of the symbol across physical and digital spaces reinforced its shared meaning and enabled its diffusion across national boundaries. The reseacrh concludes that the One Piece flag has evolved beyond popular culture into a medium of transnational symbolic resistance, illustrating how popular culture can shape political communication and collective action in contemporary global politics.]]>
