<![CDATA[This community empowerment activity was carried out in RW 02, covering RT 04 and RT 05, Yosodadi Village, Metro Timur District, Metro City, targeting two interrelated issues: the suboptimal management of household organic waste and the low utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as a means of family self-health care. The activity began with a brief and informal initial socialization session with the residents, followed by the planting of TOGA on a plot of land owned by RT 05. Subsequently, the team independently processed organic waste into compost. Once the TOGA plants had grown and were ready, the team held a closing event called the TOGA inauguration, which involved delivering material on TOGA and organic compost to the residents of RT 04 and RT 05 through a formal presentation. As the highlight of the activity, the team made a warm herbal drink from the harvested TOGA plants and distributed it to the residents. The results of the activity showed an increase in residents' understanding of organic waste management and family medicinal plants, the establishment of a TOGA garden on the RT 05 plot, as well as positive responses from residents toward the inauguration event and the spiced herbal drink distributed.]]>
