Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that impacts children's growth and development. Repeated cultural practices within the community can influence stunting prevalence. This activity aims to provide outreach and education on stunting management in Tanjung Gunung Village, Pangkalan Baru District, Central Bangka Regency in 2025, targeting children aged 12–59 months. The study used qualitative methods with purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with four mothers with stunted children, as well as two triangulation informants: a village midwife and a village cadre. Seven variables were found to influence stunting incidence, including parenting patterns, children's diet, maternal knowledge, pregnancy spacing, number of children, economic status, and environmental factors. Cultural factors inherited and practiced from generation to generation have been shown to influence parenting and diet patterns, thus impacting the increase in stunting incidence. Local culture-based education and outreach are needed to change community behavior, reduce risk factors, and decrease stunting rates in Tanjung Gunung Village.
