Maintaining employee performance while supporting psychological well-being remains a key organizational challenge. This study examined the associations among organizational virtuousness, employee well-being, and individual work performance, including the mediating role of employee well-being. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed with employees from service and business organizations in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using regression and bootstrapped mediation analysis. The findings showed that organizational virtuousness was positively associated with employee well-being and individual work performance. Employee well-being was also positively associated with individual work performance. Furthermore, employee well-being significantly mediated the relationship between organizational virtuousness and individual work performance, while the direct association between organizational virtuousness and performance remained significant, indicating partial mediation. These findings highlight employee well-being as an important psychological pathway linking organizational virtuousness with individual work performance and suggest that fostering virtuous organizational practices may support both employee well-being and effective work performance.
