This study aims to analyze the influence of financial technology (fintech) development and financial inclusion on economic growth in Indonesia during the 2016-2024 period. The advancement of digital technology has driven the transformation of the financial services sector, particularly through peer-to-peer lending, digital wallets, and online payment services, which have the potential to expand public access to formal financial services. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach supported by secondary time-series data analysis obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the World Bank. The data are presented through a line chart to observe the trend of the financial inclusion index, the financial literacy index, and Indonesias Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth. The findings show that fintech development has contributed significantly to the increase of the financial inclusion index from 67.8% in 2016 to 85.10% in 2022, although it experienced a correction in 2024 due to changes in survey methodology and rising credit-default risks in the online lending sector. This increase in financial inclusion is in line with relatively stable economic growth of around 5%, except during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. The study concludes that fintech and financial inclusion have a positive relationship with economic growth, but this must be balanced with strengthening financial literacy and consumer-protection regulation to ensure sustainable benefits.
