<![CDATA[Learning difficulties remain a persistent classical problem faced by elementary school students, including those at SD Negeri No. 050642 Donosari, Salapian District, Langkat Regency. This community service activity aims to identify the dominant factors causing learning difficulties among sixth-grade students and to formulate an applicable collaborative mentoring strategy. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews with 11 sixth-grade students (Student A to Student K), which were then analyzed thematically and recapitulated into a frequency matrix. The results show that students' learning difficulties stem from three main dimensions: academic/cognitive factors (72.7% of students struggled with Mathematics), external factors in the form of limited parental assistance at home (72.7%), and pedagogical-psychological factors related to boredom with monotonous teaching methods (63.6%). Based on these findings, the service team formulated three interventions: mentoring teachers in varying instructional media, strengthening interactive game-based learning strategies, and reinforcing communication with parents (parenting link). This activity is expected to serve as a practical reference model for addressing learning difficulties that can be replicated in other schools with similar geographic and social characteristics.]]>
