<![CDATA[Unlicensed gold mining in Bungo Regency constitutes a law enforcement problem that concerns not only violations of mining legality but also environmental protection, public safety, and the sustainability of mineral resource management. This study aims to examine integrated law enforcement against unlicensed gold mining in Bungo Regency, focusing on its regulatory framework and enforcement measures, the implementation of law enforcement by the Bungo District Police and Civil Service Investigators of the Bungo Regency Civil Service Police Unit, and the factors hindering effective law enforcement. This study employs an empirical legal research method with a socio-legal approach. Primary data were obtained through interviews and observations involving law enforcement officers at the Bungo District Police and the Bungo Regency Civil Service Police Unit, while secondary data were obtained through a literature review of legislation, legal books, scholarly journals, and relevant previous studies. The data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using the theory of factors influencing law enforcement. The findings indicate that law enforcement has been carried out through preventive and repressive measures involving the police, local government, Civil Service Police Unit, Indonesian National Armed Forces, and relevant agencies, but has not yet produced sustained legal compliance. The principal obstacles include limited personnel, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, the extensive area requiring supervision, community economic dependence on mining activities, and a mining culture that has developed across generations. This study recommends an integrated law enforcement model encompassing risk-area mapping, prevention, legal education, risk-based supervision, coordinated enforcement, post-enforcement monitoring, environmental protection, and community empowerment through lawful alternative livelihoods.
