Abstract - Technical competence and job placement play an important role in increasing work effectiveness. This study aims to determine the influence of technical competence and job placement on the work effectiveness of Experts for Members of the PAN Fraction in the DPR RI, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses an associative quantitative method. The population consists of all 30 Experts for Members of the PAN Fraction in the DPR RI, and a saturated sampling technique was applied so that the entire population was used as the sample. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 22. The results show that (1) technical competence has a positive and significant partial effect on work effectiveness, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t count 9.234 > t table 2.018; (2) job placement has no significant partial effect on work effectiveness, with a significance value of 0.289 > 0.05 and tcount -1.081 < ttable 2.018; and (3) technical competence and job placement simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness, contributing 67.4%.
