<![CDATA[This article investigates the relationship between Siri’-integrated Islamic leadership, New Public Management (NPM), and the self-reported performance of civil servants in the Makassar City Government. Archived questionnaire data were available for 100 structural officials chosen purposively. The study used a cross-sectional confirmatory design and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). After the surviving statistical tables were checked against one another, the leadership–NPM path was positive (β = 0.223, t = 3.200, recalculated p = 0.001, approximate 95% CI [0.086, 0.360]), as was the leadership–performance path (β = 0.323, t = 3.544, recalculated p < 0.001, approximate 95% CI [0.145, 0.501]). The indirect effect, reconstructed from the reported Sobel standard error and test statistic, was approximately 0.135 (z = 2.878, recalculated p = 0.004, approximate 95% CI [0.043, 0.227]). This pattern is consistent with partial mediation. Integrity had the highest mean among the performance indicators. That result is read as a favorable self-assessment, not as proof that Siri’ or Muraqabah caused integrity, since neither was estimated as a separate construct. The study suggests that NPM can serve as an administrative channel through which locally meaningful ethical leadership is connected with performance. Interpretation remains limited by the cross-sectional design, purposive sampling, one-government setting, self-reported measures, and the reconstruction of several statistics from archived summaries.]]>
