Abstract

Comprehensive Midwifery Care or Continuity of Care is a health service provided continuously to mothers and babies by health workers, starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, to newborn care and family planning services. This service aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and improve the quality of health of both. In this study, the researcher aims to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. R during all stages at RSKDIA Pertiwi Makassar in 2025. Research methods include: Anamnesis is an interview process between the patient or the patient's family and a doctor or authorized health worker, Physical examination, or what is often referred to as a head-to-toe examination, is a comprehensive evaluation process of the patient's body condition, or only certain parts that are considered important by the doctor, Laboratory examination is an action and procedure carried out to analyze samples taken from the client. The sample can be urine, blood, sputum, feces, secretions, or biopsy samples. Midwifery documentation is the process of recording and storing significant data in the implementation of midwifery care and services. The collected data serves as an authentic record and can be valid evidence if needed in handling legal cases. Based on the results of observations and examinations conducted, information was obtained that Mrs. R is pregnant with her second child with a gestational age of around 38-40 weeks, which indicates that the pregnancy is in the end of the third trimester and approaching the time of delivery
