Land boundary management is a critical aspect of land administration in Indonesia, and its manual handling often leads to data integration difficulties, slow processing, and potential boundary disputes. This study aims to design and develop a web-based prototype system for mapping and managing land boundaries at the Medan City Land Office. A qualitative research method was employed, using observation, interviews, and literature study as data collection techniques. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, covering requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages, and built with PHP and MySQL technologies while incorporating Geographic Information System (GIS) concepts. The resulting prototype provides features such as authentication-based access for admin and applicants, an interactive land boundary map, a land registration submission form, document verification and validation, search and filter functions, and application-status tracking. The prototype is expected to support more structured, transparent, and accurate land boundary data management compared to the previous manual process.
