This study aims to determine the role of the Baitul Makmur Islamic Boarding School's business unit in improving the Sharia financial literacy of students and the community. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive field approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the foundation chairman, canteen keepers, students, and surrounding community members. The results show that the canteen business unit plays a role in instilling Islamic economic values, such as honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and the principles of halal and thayyib in buying and selling activities. Students' involvement in canteen management also enhances their understanding of simple financial management. Despite facing constraints such as limited capital and business management, the canteen remains a means of learning Sharia financial literacy within the pesantren environment.
