The herbal plant Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata) is utilized in poultry as an alternative to Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGPs). This study aimed to analyze the potential of Sambiloto as an immunomodulator by assessing the weights of the bursa of Fabricius, thymus, and spleen. A total of 50 14-day-old male broiler chickens, basal feed, and Sambiloto leaf meal were used. The study employed an experimental design with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) comprising five treatments and four replications. The treatments included P0 (negative control without Sambiloto), P1 (positive control with commercial vitamins and no Sambiloto), P2 (feed supplemented with 5% Sambiloto meal), P3 (feed supplemented with 10% Sambiloto meal), and P4 (feed supplemented with 15% Sambiloto meal). All treatments were administered for 21 days. The observed variables were the relative weights of the bursa of Fabricius, thymus, and spleen. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The inclusion of Sambiloto leaf meal significantly affected the relative weights of the bursa of Fabricius and thymus, but had no significant effect on the relative weight of the spleen. The highest relative weight for the bursa of Fabricius was observed in P4 with 15% Sambiloto meal, whereas the highest relative weight for the thymus was in P1 with vitamin supplementation. The highest relative weight for the spleen was observed in P2 with 5% Sambiloto meal. Dietary supplementation of Sambiloto leaf meal at a dose of 10–15% has the potential to enhance the development of the bursa of Fabricius and thymus as a natural immunomodulator in broilers.
