This study proposes improvements to the production process of CVT slide pieces made from pineapple leaf fiber-reinforced Polypropylene High Impact composites using the Six Sigma DMAIC framework. Production data from five simulation sessions covering 2,000 units were analyzed through Critical to Quality identification, a P control chart, Defects per Million Opportunities, sigma level, fishbone analysis, and 5W+1H. The results identified 353 defective units, equivalent to 17.7% of total production, with flash parting line as the dominant defect at 165 cases or 46.74%. The process remained statistically in control, with a center line of 0.177, but its capability was limited, as reflected by an average DPMO of 29,416.67 and a sigma level of 3.39. Root-cause analysis identified nine causes across machine, method, material, and man factors, mainly associated with the absence of standardized process-control documents. Six improvement documents were formulated, including machine and mold checklists, inspection procedures, material preparation standards, and parameter logs. The proposed controls are projected to reduce defects to 11.45% and increase the sigma level to 3.57. These measures provide a structured basis for sustainable manufacturing quality improvement.
