<![CDATA[Kubu Raya Regency is one of the conservation areas in West Kalimantan that has extensive and productive mangrove ecosystems, including the Pantai Tengkuyung ecotourism area. This ecosystem provides an important habitat for various organisms, one of which is gastropods. This study aimed to examine the morphological characteristics of the gastropod Turritella terebra in the Pantai Tengkuyung ecotourism area. The study was conducted in February 2025 in the Pantai Tengkuyung ecotourism area, Sungai Nibung Village, Teluk Pakedai District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. Samples were collected through a field survey using the purposive sampling method. Based on the identification results, Turritella terebra has a medium-sized shell, light brown to dark brown in color, elongated conical in shape, dextrally coiled (dextral), and equipped with an operculum. The shell size reaches a length of 10 cm and a width of 2–3 cm. These characteristics reflect adaptations to the intertidal or tidal zone in the mangrove ecotourism area with sandy and muddy substrates. These morphological aspects are important for understanding the ecology of the species and its resilience to environmental pressures.]]>
