<![CDATA[Slobog batik is one of the traditional batik motifs from Solo, Indonesia, symbolizing sincerity, resilience, and acceptance in facing life's challenges. This inquiry endeavors to elucidate the Slobog batik motif and adumbrate the tenets of planar geometry and geometric transmutations imbricated therein. A qualitative descriptive methodology, undergirded by an ethnographic approach, was marshaled to excavate both the mathematical substrata and the axiological cultural import of the motif. Data were amassed through perspicacious observation, colloquies with batik artisans, and documentary corroboration, subsequently subjected to data attenuation, data exposition, and conclusion adduction. The findings adumbrate that the Slobog batik motif is replete with sundry planar geometric configurations, encompassing squares, rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, and trapezoids. The motif likewise evinces geometric transmutations translation, rotation, and reflection manifest through its iterative and symmetrical patterning. Beyond its mathematical dimensions, the motif is emblematic of philosophical verities: unpretentiousness, sincerity, tranquility, and acquiescence. These results show that Slobog batik integrates mathematical concepts with local cultural values and has the potential to serve as a contextual learning resource for teaching plane geometry and geometric transformations in mathematics education.]]>
