Interfaith harmony is a crucial element in creating a harmonious society amidst religious diversity and social transformation due to modernization. The existence of a house of worship not only functions as a place for religious activities, but also has the potential to become a forum for social interaction that supports the formation of harmonious relationships between adherents of various religions. The purpose of this Community Service activity through the KKN program from Raden Mas Said State Islamic University of Surakarta is to explore the presence of Amertaloka Temple and analyze its contribution in strengthening interfaith harmony in Tumpukan Village, Karangdowo District, Klaten Regency. The method used in this activity is a descriptive qualitative approach with several data collection techniques including through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The resource persons involved in this activity include the manager or religious leader of Amertaloka Temple, Hindus, community leaders, and local residents. The findings from this activity indicate that the central existence of Amertaloka Temple not only plays a role as a location for holding Hindu worship, but is also integrated with the social life of the community in Tumpukan Village. Interfaith harmony is clearly visible through mutual respect, communication between residents, mutual cooperation, collaboration in social activities, and respect for each other's religious practices. Amidst the process of modernization, technological advances, and changes in social interactions, maintaining harmony presents challenges. Therefore, it is crucial to strengthen interfaith communication, carry out joint social activities, maintain the culture of mutual cooperation, and involve young people in fostering values of tolerance. The existence of the Amertaloka Temple can be a social center that supports the creation of a harmonious, tolerant, and respectful community amidst existing diversity.
