A high birth rate, when not accompanied by adequate parenting practices, may lead to challenges affecting children’s development and well-being, including violence against children, difficulties in emotional regulation, and limited parental awareness of nutritional needs that may contribute to stunting and malnutrition. Therefore, a parenting seminar was conducted to enhance community knowledge and awareness of consistent and appropriate parenting practices. The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the Village Health Clinic (Poliklinik Kesehatan Desa/PKD) and featured a speaker with expertise in parenting and child development. Participants were members of the Village Family Welfare Empowerment (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga/PKK) group, and the seminar was integrated into their regular monthly meeting. Participants responded positively, particularly during the discussion and question-and-answer session. The seminar is expected to increase parents’ awareness and support the development of independent, resilient, healthy children with positive character traits.
