Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is important to be introduced at school age to develop healthy and hygienic habits. This activity was a KKN program conducted by Universitas Negeri Padang at SDN 38 Sungai Limau to improve students' understanding and awareness of PHBS. The activity used a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through observation and documentation. A total of 45 students participated in activities including material presentation, videos, handwashing practice, quizzes, question-and-answer sessions, ice breaking, pre-tests, and post-tests. The results showed an improvement in students' understanding, particularly in the question about washing hands before and after eating, where correct answers increased from 22 to 42 students. The students also showed enthusiasm and active participation throughout the activity. Therefore, direct and interactive PHBS education can help improve students' understanding and awareness of implementing clean and healthy living habits.
