Rice, as a strategic commodity, faces major challenges due to climate change and the wasteful use of water in manual irrigation, which is only 30–50% efficient. This study developed a smart submersible pump irrigation system based on the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System (IT2FLS), integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) and an android mobile application. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller as the main control unit, soil moisture sensors, rain sensors, and Type-2 fuzzy logic processing on the server to generate automated decisions that are more robust against sensor data uncertainty. Testing was conducted on rice paddy fields. The test results showed that the system was able to save up to 38.7% in water usage and up to 38.6% in electricity compared to manual irrigation. The android application functioned well for real-time monitoring and remote control. This study proves that the integration of IT2FLS, IoT, and mobile applications can improve rice paddy irrigation efficiency and support the implementation of smart farming. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem irigasi cerdas pompa submersible berbasis Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System (IT2FLS) terintegrasi dengan Internet of Things (IoT) dan aplikasi mobile android. Sistem ini menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai unit kendali utama, sensor kelembapan tanah, sensor hujan, serta pemrosesan logika fuzzy tipe-2 pada server untuk menghasilkan keputusan otomatis yang lebih robust terhadap ketidakpastian data sensor. Pengujian dilakukan pada lahan sawah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu menghemat penggunaan air hingga 38,7% dan listrik hingga 38,6% dibandingkan irigasi manual. Aplikasi android berfungsi dengan baik untuk monitoring real-time dan kontrol jarak jauh. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi IT2FLS, IoT, dan aplikasi mobile dapat meningkatkan efisiensi irigasi sawah serta mendukung implementasi smart farming.
