<![CDATA[The Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) has increased national demand for eggs and may influence retail prices at the regional level, including in the city of Bandung. This study analyzes the fluctuation of chicken egg prices at an Indogrosir outlet in Bandung City during January-July 2026 and its relationship with the dynamics of the MBG Program. A quantitative method was applied using secondary data of 148 daily price observations. The analysis includes descriptive statistics, mean-difference tests, and multiple linear regression with a time-trend variable and two dummy variables representing the Ramadan-Eid period and the temporary suspension of MBG distribution. Results show a significant declining price trend over the observation period, with a price spike during Ramadan-Eid and a sharp drop when MBG distribution was temporarily suspended. The regression model explains 85 percent of price variation, with all coefficients statistically significant. These findings indicate that demand generated by the MBG Program contributes to egg price formation at the retail level in Bandung City, suggesting that program continuity should be considered in maintaining local food price stability.]]>
