A family is a union of two or more individuals linked by blood, marriage, or adoption who form a single household, interact within the framework of family rules, and collectively create and maintain a culture. Objective: To lower blood pressure by performing hypertension exercises with the family. Method: This study employed a descriptive method with a case study approach. Health maintenance management was conducted over five days, involving interviews, observation, instruction on hypertension exercises, and the direct provision of nursing care to the patient and family. The study was carried out in Samarinda City, specifically involving families with members suffering from hypertension. The study population consisted of families with members in late adulthood who were affected by hypertension. Results: The case study results showed that administering hypertension exercise therapy to Mrs. D led to a significant reduction in blood pressure, dropping from 191/120 mmHg to 148/90 mmHg. Conclusion: Hypertension exercises contribute to lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
