<![CDATA[Purpose-This community service activity aims to empower PKK women in Tumut Hamlet, Moyudan, Sleman through training in making jumputan tablecloths as an effort to strengthen productive skills. This activity was carried out because partners still have limited knowledge about business skills, minimal sociopreneurship activities, and not optimal utilization of the potential of the creative economy based on household skills. Methods-The method of implementing activities includes lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The activity was held on August 12, 2023 involving 30 PKK participants. The training material includes the introduction of jumputan techniques, the use of tools and materials, the process of making jumputan tablecloths, simple work safety, and the calculation of product selling prices. Results and discussions-The results of the activity showed that all participants participated in the training until it was finished. Most of the participants were able to make jumputan tablecloths well, with a very good skill achievement of 95% and quite good of 5%. Participants were also able to calculate the selling price of the product, which was around IDR 35,000 per unit. This training improves the technical skills, confidence, creativity, and motivation of participants to develop textile handicraft-based business opportunities in the household environment. Conclusion-Training in making jumputan tablecloths can be an effective form of empowerment for PKK women in improving productive skills and opening up creative economic opportunities. Follow-up activities can be directed to the development of motif design, packaging, branding, product photography, and digital marketing.]]>
