<![CDATA[Economic growth represents the expansion in the production capacity of goods and services over time, supported by technology, capital, and consumption. North Sumatra faces economic challenges due to changing consumption patterns, despite its geographical and industrial potential. Electricity plays a key role in economic development, with electricity consumption reflecting progress and prosperity. An improved electricity system in North Sumatra supports economic activities, especially in the residential and commercial sectors, thereby boosting regional economic growth. This study uses a quantitative research method. The aim of this research is to examine the effects of electricity consumption, industrialization, and electricity consumption on economic growth in North Sumatra. Data collection was carried out using a literature review. The results show that electricity consumption has a positive effect on the economic growth of North Sumatra, while industrialization has a negative impact. Nevertheless, the industrial and electricity sectors remain key drivers of regional economic growth.]]>
