Introduction: Quartz sand is a strategic non-metallic mineral commodity with high economic value, the management of which requires fair and competitive benchmark price policies. Current regulation under the South Kalimantan Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 084 of 2023 has not established a definitive reference figure for the selling price, which potentially triggers business uncertainty and price manipulation. This study determines direct and indirect cost components, develops a sustainable environment-based selling price prediction model, and establishes the selling price per ton based on the percentage quality of SiO2 content.Method: This study utilizes an action research method with a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. The research analyzes the estimated total resources and reserves of quartz sand, laboratory results of quartz sand quality grades, planned production cost calculations, environmental costs (reclamation, post-mining, post-operation), mining safety costs, and community development and empowerment (PPM) costs, as well as measuring the hauling road distance from the mine to the port at PT Murah Rezeki Putra Putri Suryanata. Results: The research indicates that the direct production cost is Rp17,000 and the indirect cost is Rp5,000, yielding a Reference Production Price value of Rp22,000. Laboratory test results confirm that the quartz sand quality is exceptionally high, with silica (SiO2) content reaching 99.7% and a correction factor value of 14%. By applying the quality-based calculation model, the ideal and sustainable predicted selling price for quartz sand was found to be Rp307,076 per ton.
