<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the role of *pesantren* (Islamic boarding school) management in enhancing the quality of student education amidst various challenges facing modern Islamic education—such as suboptimal evaluation systems, declining student learning quality, and students' lack of preparedness in determining their educational and career paths post-graduation. A qualitative research method employing a descriptive case study approach was utilized. The study was conducted at the Darul Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School in Parung, Bogor. Data collection involved observation, structured interviews, and document analysis, with informants comprising the Head of TMI, the Head of the Education Division, and students. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, utilizing triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that *pesantren* management plays a crucial role in improving the quality of student education through the systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs. Supporting factors include teacher competence, adequate facilities, and consistent educational programs, whereas inhibiting factors include teacher workload and a lack of alignment in vision between the *pesantren* and the students' guardians.]]>
